In Eastern Tibet, I met a Tibetan family who had kowtowed for 1,000 kilometers 9 months from Amdo.
Beyond everyone's imagination, Nyingchi in eastern Tibet boasts an epic natural landscape, serving as a habitat for thousands of species and being a genetic treasure trove at the top of the Earth. The beautiful sights of the snow-capped mountains, forests, lakes, glaciers, and grand canyons at the eastern end of the Himalayas all converge in Nyingchi. What's more, Nyingchi has enviable low altitudes-ranging only from 2500 to 2800 meters. When traveling from mainland China to Tibet by plane, you can directly land here, bypassing the discomfort of altitude sickness. Starting your Tibetan journey here can lead you to Lhasa, Tibet's capital, with just a day's drive of 400 kilometers or a 3-hour train ride to the west.
The stunning scenery along the route captivates me, a gift bestowed by nature on the Tibetan Plateau, infusing Tibet's barren natural environment with vitality and poetry. Nyingchi's forests teem with rich resources like honey, fields of flowers, various types of mushrooms, vast stretches of pine and cypress trees, with snow-capped mountains and glaciers seemingly within arm's reach.
Let's not forget the hundreds of thousands of original Tibetan residents living in the deep mountains and valleys of eastern Tibet, Despite being far from Lhasa, they hold strong beliefs, prostrating themselves by knocking their heads every step of the way towards their pilgrimage to Lhasa. In Nyingchi, I encountered them on their journey, deeply moved by their perseverance and dedication, I met one family prostrate from 1000kms far.

The Other Side of Tibet, Nyingchi: With Vast Forest and the Most Abundant Ecosystem in Plateau.

Tibet, as you imagine, is likely barren, frigid, oxygen-deprived, scarce in resources, shrouded in snowstorms, and sparsely populated, this is the most common impression of Tibet. However, in the eastern part of Tibet, Nyingchi breaks this stereotype. It is rich, humid, densely forested, abundant in oxygen, vibrant in agriculture, and crisscrossed by rivers. Nyingchi lies in the eastern section...

Jamyang la, thank you for showing the ancient city of Sakya and explaining about the city and its monastery. My grandmother's hometown is near this city. Next time, would you mind showing us Tingkye and Zar county which are near Sakya city. They are within the Tsang region. Zar county is where my father is from. All our family and relatives will be so happy to see these two counties. So far, we have not seen any UA-cam videos made on these two counties. We salute you and your team for showing and guiding us to the different part of Tibet. 🙏🙏🙏

Congrats… lots of love ❤❤❤❤ and blessings for your new baby from India. Especially when we are expecting a baby, my friends and I avoid Chinese products as we do not trust Chinese products to be healthy for the baby. You should avoid feeding your baby Chinese baby formula... instead, try Tibetan traditional ways to raise a baby. Here we call Appa to appa not papa. I can imagine how excited you must be. In India, Tibetans follow old methods for raising a baby. When he grows up, give him champa mixed with milk. Use organic foods and be extremely cautious when giving Chinese products. I wish you all the best in your new role as parents.. With love Kunchhok (Amdo)from India
